Facebook Bug Changed ‘Privacy’ setting to ‘Public for 1.4 crore Users
Facebook has recently revealed that there was a bug in the facebook system which changed the privacy settings for posts created by users.

According to a recent press release by the Facebook team, it appears that there was a bug in the system which manipulated the settings of 1.4 crore user’s accounts. The privacy setting while posting something on Facebook was changed from ‘friends only’ to ‘public’ without the knowledge of the user. This system malfunction happened between may 18 to may 27. The company has suggested all the users review their posts which they have posted during that time and change the settings if they preferred. Fortunately, the bug is no more present, and Facebook apologized for its mistake.
