A girl from Assam posted on her Facebook account that she was going to commit suicide and that’s when the Facebook headquarters alerted the police in Assam, and the girl was saved.
Assam police got an alert from the headquarters of Facebook that a girl posted on her Facebook timeline that she was going to commit suicide. The police immediately rushed and located the girl in 30 minutes. They saved the girl and counselled the family. Her post was later deleted by advice from the police. “She is safe and in their care”, said Assam police in a tweet they posted on Twitter. Police just arrived in the nick of time to save the minor girl. Her safety was ensured and all thanks to the US giant Facebook for alerting the police.
