Saif Ali Khan speaks in support of the #MeToo movement and says he completely supports the decision of not working with people who harass women. He also went ahead and shared the story from early days of his career. He did not hesitate in speaking about it.
Recalling the past incident, Saif says he was harassed, though it was not sexually, and the actor is still angry about it. “I have been harassed in my career, not sexually, but I have been harassed 25 years ago, and I am still angry about it," said Saif in an interview with PTI.
But today it is not about me. It is about the woman who are being mistreated. He further added that Most of the people don't understand other people. It is very tough to understand other's pain. He said I don't want to speak about it because I'm not important today. It is about women, today.
Speaking about the allegations made against Sajid Khan, the actor recalls his time on the sets of Humshakals. The actor shared he does not remember anything of this sort happening on the sets. Otherwise, he would not have taken it lightly and not tolerate it.
We all need to have this kind of attitude and support this decision of not working with a person who mistreats or harasses other.
