Ex-Prime minister and senior Congress leader, Manmohan Singh expressed his sadness over the death of DMK chief M. Karunanidhi. He said that India lost a versatile genius in the form of Karunanidhi. He further added that Karunanidhi was an exceptional public servant who was an able administrator. Senior Congress leader Sandeep Surjewala also expressed his grief over the death of one of the most powerful politicians of Tamil Nadu. Karunanidhi passed away on Tuesday. He was rushed to the hospital on July 28 due to a very high fever and urinary tract infection with a dip in blood pressure levels. His funeral will be conducted at the Chennai Marina beach at 4 pm today. The entire state of Tamil Nadu is drowned in grief with the demise of their favourite politician.
