Dutee Chand, the girl who was dropped out of the Commonwealth contingent, won a silver medal at the women’s hundred meters race at the Asian Games 2018 at Jakarta, Indonesia. She said that in semi-finals she did not push hard enough in the first 20 metres. Her coach suggested that she had to make a better beginning. So she decided that medal or not, she had to make her timing better. So she rushed the first 40 metres in the final race, and she ran with her eyes closed. She said that she wanted to make her timing better and could not believe when other told her that she won a medal.
