Google clarifies its location-tracking policy that it racks the user’s location even if they turn it off and disable the option. Google changed a description under its location setting page which previously used to say, “Once turned off, no one will know the places you go to any longer” to “some location data may be stored as part of your activity on some services”. The change came three days after an Associated Press investigation revealed that several Google apps and websites store user location even if users have turned off Location History.
