Whatsapp Group Admins Can Now Decide Who Can Send Messages In The Group
Whatsapp may soon roll out a feature for the Whatsapp groups where the admin decides who gets to talk in the group make the admin the supreme authority of the group.

WhatsApp groups will soon be a one-way only communication channel. Reason? WhatsApp new Send Messages feature. The chat app wants a group administrator to become the supreme authority of the group, and that's why is rolling out a Send Messages feature that will allow a group administrator to block other participants in the group from messaging. The feature is available for iOS, Android and Windows user starting today. WaBetaInfo, the fan site for WhatsApp reports that the rollout on iOS is very fast while on Android and Windows phone it is quite slow. With this feature, the administrator can basically disable the chat feature for the group. Only the group admin can control this feature. This option is available under the Group settings. When "Only Admins" is selected for the Send Messages option, other participants won't be able to send in the group text messages, images, videos or voice messages. Only the admin can send messages in the group in this case. Once the admin changes the permission for all participants, it will be notified in the group with this message: "You changed this group's settings to allow all participants to send messages to this group." A similar message will be seen when only admins are selected.
