The Tanushree Datta and Nana Patekar case takes a new turn

The former Miss India and Actor Tanushree Datta reaches out to Maharastra Women Commission for further investigations in relation with allegations against Nana Patekar.

Her complaint appeals the Women Commission to investigate into the accusation of harassment against the Veteran Actor Nana Patekar, Choreographer Ganesh Acharya, Producer Samee Siddiqui, and Director Rakesh Sarang, and several Maharastra Navnirman Sena party workers.

Nitin Satpute, Miss Datta’s Lawyer, confirmed the same on Monday, 8th October, “The complaint had been lodged with Maharastra Women Commission.” He added, “Tomorrow, we are going to move the complaint to the District Officer (DO) as per Sexual Harassment Act, Section 9”.

Tanushree Datta’s statement will be recorded today, Tuesday, 9th October, along with available witnesses. 

Miss Datta also says that she has faced political threats and a fierce attack by the activists of MNS after she mentioned the 10-year old incident. She adds that she has suffered enormous monetary loss as she was shocked and unable to work after the aforesaid incident.
